Just checking...

Just testing out my blogger app on my iPhone. I'm sitting in the DFW airport anxiously awaiting my flight to Chicago for a quick 24 hour trip. I can't wait to see friends and family, I haven't been north since 2002... Oh, and hopefully the boys are surprised to see me- well I hope it's a surprise!

I'm getting a puppy! A Mini Australian Shepherd. She is coming from a breeder in Cresson,CA and will be coming home with the boys after the Derby next Monday. I can't wait. I've only seen her in pictures and I am a bit crazy for not finding one closer, but reputation sold me. Carol's new puppy came from the same breeder and is the best little dog. I didn't want to take a chance on getting a hyper, high strung dog. I want a friend for life. She is spoiled, and hasn't even met me. Meet Miss Zoe Miller.

Well, I did it. I feel like I'm behind with the times not having had a blog already, but I just didn't think I need one... and well, I don't really need one... but I'm getting more and more lately to where I wish I had somewhere to "write this down", save for later type thing. I guess it's a maturity thing? That sounds better than an aging thing, right?

Well, here we go. I'm just getting started. I think I might go backwards for a little while and catch up on things that I want to 'remember'.
